// INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Space for personal growth.

Individual therapy offers a supportive space to explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and create meaningful change at your own pace.

Wherever you are, we’ll start there.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be navigating a difficult transition, struggling with anxiety, questioning your relationships, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right. Sometimes, you know exactly what you want to work on. Other times, you’re not sure where to begin.

How Individual Therapy Can Help

Therapy isn’t just about addressing what’s difficult. It’s also an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize patterns, develop new perspectives, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what matters to you. I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including:

Anxiety, stress & depression — Managing worry, low mood, overwhelm, and emotional exhaustion.

Self-esteem & self-worth — Navigating self-criticism, perfectionism, and feelings of inadequacy.

Relationships & attachment — Understanding recurring patterns, strengthening connections, and navigating relationship difficulties.

Boundaries & people-pleasing — Learning to recognize your needs and communicate them with greater confidence.

Grief & loss — Making space for difficult emotions and adjusting to life after loss.

Life transitions — Navigating changes in relationships, careers, family dynamics, or personal identity.

ADHD & neurodivergence — Exploring emotional regulation, self-understanding, and challenges in everyday life.

Emotional regulation & anger — Understanding emotional responses and developing healthier ways to navigate them.

Trauma & difficult life experiences — Exploring how past experiences may continue to influence your present.

What Can You Gain From Therapy?

While everyone’s experience is different, therapy can help you:

Develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience.

Build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Recognize and shift patterns that no longer serve you.

Navigate challenges with greater confidence and flexibility.

Develop a stronger sense of self and live more intentionally.

Meaningful change

Meaningful change doesn’t always mean becoming someone different. Sometimes, it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and learning to approach your experiences with greater compassion.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe effective therapy begins with a genuine, trusting relationship. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices, recognizing that every person brings a unique history, perspective, and set of needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and its third-wave adaptations

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) principles

Somatic and nervous-system-informed approaches

Psychodynamic and attachment-informed perspectives

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills

A thoughtful, tailored approach

Rather than following a rigid formula, I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, tailoring our work to your experiences, needs, and goals.

I value curiosity over judgment, collaboration over advice-giving, and creating a space where you can explore difficult thoughts and emotions without feeling pressured to have all the answers.

What to Expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and begin identifying what you’d like to work toward.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes, with frequency determined collaboratively based on your needs and goals.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. We’ll regularly check in on how things are going and adjust our approach as your needs evolve.

Most importantly, you can expect a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

Ready to Begin?

You don’t need to wait until things become overwhelming to seek support. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge, hoping to better understand yourself, or simply feeling ready for something to change, therapy can be a place to begin.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. Let’s start the conversation.
